Sustainable development
The Intercommunal Tourist Office - Oisans Tourisme makes an ongoing commitment to its visitors, partners and suppliers to limit its environmental impact by adopting an eco-responsible policy.
Staff awareness initiatives
- We have introduced a daily eco-management guide that has been sent out to the entire Tourist Office team.
- A booklet on the building (NF certification, tertiary building, HPE label) is available to staff at the Oisans Tourisme head office.
- We help enhance the skills of our teams through training, in order to ensure their employability and encourage them to progress.
Managing paper, fluids and energy consumption
- We limit printing and have set the "ink saving" function. Printing is on scrap paper, in black & white and on both sides of the paper whenever possible.
- Our work equipment is set to standby and hibernation mode, and then switched off when we close.
- We sort all our waste to encourage recycling.
- We use heating sparingly.• We adjust the lighting in our buildings according to requirements, favouring natural light and using low-energy bulbs and presence detectors.
- We use cleaning products that respect both the environment and our staff.
- We encourage our staff to use public transport and to carpool, as well as preferring car-pooling for business trips and training.
- We prioritise dematerialised meetings, favouring remote meetings using IT tools.
Improving our procurement policy
- We manage grouped orders to limit deliveries.
- We favour recycled and recyclable materials and choose reusable products.
- We ensure our staff understand our commitment to sustainable purchasing.
Managing our communication media
- We manage our documentation stocks and assess our quantitative needs.
- We use suppliers who are committed to environmental responsibility.
- Our printing company has ISO 14 001, Imprim'Vert, PEFC and FSC certification. All printing is performed in Isère.
- We computerise as much of our work as possible.
- We send our mail at the "Green Letter" ecological rate.
Supporting our business partners in their initiatives
