Accompanied by a high mountain guide, the initiation to ski touring is a luxury to be seized. Coming to learn here allows you to evolve among moderate slopes in a magnificent setting, on snow that is often powdery and comfortable. With grandiose views of the Meije, the Râteau and further afield the Grandes Rousses, Vanoise and Mont-Blanc massifs, we discover the powers of our equipment – skis, bindings, boots, skins and knives – and the uphill conversion arts. We then enjoy a pleasant descent on different slopes or degrees of slope depending on the route chosen. From the hamlets of La Grave, Villard d'Arène, the Col du Lautaret... there is There is something for all tastes and all levels!Teenagers and AdultsLevels of difficulty: You are able to descend a red run in the resort and you sometimes venture to the edge of the run on ungroomed snow. On the ascent you are able to walk between 3 and 4 hours around 800m of altitude difference. Included: Supervision by a high mountain guide or a state-certified instructor, Professional Civil Liability Insurance, Collective technical equipment, DVA, shovel, probe.To be provided: Personal Accident Insurance, Clothing adapted to the activity, Ski goggles, sunglasses, sunscreen, Water bottle or thermos, cakes, racing food, Touring skis + skins + knives + ski touring boots + poles, helmet, backpack that can contain the shovel and the probe (about 35l), Small pharmacy adapted to your personal needs, Picnic, Transport to the place of activity and shuttles or possible taxi returns (to be discussed with the guide). Meeting points: Meetings are at 8:30 am directly on site or at the La Grave Guides Office The outing is guaranteed from 4 people.
